Choosing a plan takes you to account creation and carries your selection to your billing page. Nothing is charged until you confirm it there.

Try the workflow before choosing a plan.

New accounts start with 25 evaluation credits, valid for 30 days, in their initial organization. No payment method is required.

Score and Score Details each cost one credit per successful request. Reports cost 10 credits per successful location: the evaluation allowance can cover 2 report locations, with 5 credits left for API requests. Credits are shared across the organization's keys and do not renew.

What stays free

The public side of CrimeScore does not require an account or a plan. If you are checking a single neighborhood rather than building on the data, start there.

Scores are modeled context for an area, not an official crime rate, a police report, or a guarantee about any individual address.

FAQ

Before you choose

What counts against the monthly request quota?

Successful Score, Score Details, and Nearby Incidents requests each use one request. Reports use 10 requests per successful location, including selected detail components. Geocoding, failures, and unavailable results do not count. Your account shows current usage.

Can I change plans later?

Manage plans from Billing in your account. Review any proration and effective date before confirming a change. Annual subscription changes are handled in the Stripe customer portal.

Is there a free trial?

Eligible accounts without an active subscription can try monthly Starter free for seven days, once per user. The offer appears in Billing before checkout. A payment method is required. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription renews automatically at the monthly price shown at checkout. Upgrading during the trial ends it early and starts paid billing. Annual Starter and Pro do not include this trial.

Are evaluation credits the same as the free trial?

No. New accounts receive 25 evaluation credits, valid for 30 days, in their initial organization without a payment method. Score and Score Details each use one credit per successful request. Reports use 10 credits per successful location. The allowance is shared across that organization's keys and does not renew. Check your account for remaining access. The separate seven-day Starter trial requires a payment method.

What is included with Enterprise?

Enterprise is negotiated rather than published. Request volume, rate limits, delivery format, support, and any service commitments are set in the signed contract.

What can I use without paying?

The public map, ZIP code profiles, county profiles, methodology, and data-quality pages are open without an account. New accounts can evaluate Score, Score Details, and Reports with 25 credits for 30 days without a payment method. Paid plans add recurring allowances and customer embeds; Pro also includes nearby incidents.
